The Swedish nationals for the WBC are over. First off all we would like to congratulate Alexander Ruas being the new Swedish champion and our representative in the WBC in Colombia 2011. A rock solid performance with a spotless technique and a god coffee roasted by the guys at Drop gave him a well earned gold portafilter. We would also like to congratulate Sebastian Rydberg and Luis Belandria for doing well in the competition and presenting our coffees in a great way in an important context. We are very happy that Sebastian took our coffee all the way to second place. Good job! Just as exiting is that Christina Fogarolli used our coffee in the Italian nationals and came in fourth. A Nordic style roasted coffee in the finals in Italy, land of the traditional dark roasted espresso.! A big thank you and congratulations to Christina as well. Also worth mentioning is Pernilla Gaard from da Matteo who took what is possible to perform in 15 minutes regarding passion dedication and brewing to a whole new level. That one will stick for a while! Already looking forward to next years nationals.
